WIRE RACE BALL BEARINGS

FINE ENGINEERING Wire Race Ball Bearings are a special type of thin-section slewing bearings that use precision hardened steel wires as raceways, instead of traditional solid integral raceways. The hardened wires are fitted into grooves of the inner and outer rings, working with precision steel balls to achieve rotary support.
They are characterized by ultra-thin profile, lightweight, high precision, high rigidity and flexible structure, widely used in high-end equipment with limited space and weight requirements.
Key Technical Features:
Structural Design:
Raceways formed by precision bearing steel wires embedded in inner/outer ring grooves
Use precision steel balls as rolling elements, with 2/4-point contact
Support combined radial, axial and moment loads
Rings can be made of lightweight materials such as aluminum alloy or engineering plastic
Size & Profile Advantages:
Ultra-thin cross-section, only 1/2 to 1/3 thickness of conventional bearings
Allow large slewing diameter with very thin profile
Can be designed as split type, internal/external geared, or flange-mounted
Load Capacity & Rigidity:
Wire raceways through-hardened and precision ground
High rigidity, low deformation under heavy load
Excellent resistance to vibration and shock
Materials & Manufacturing:
Race wire: high-carbon chromium bearing steel, stainless steel
Rings: aluminum alloy, stainless steel, engineering plastic
Balls: high-precision grade steel or ceramic balls
Sealing & Lubrication:
Labyrinth or contact seals available for dust and water protection
Long-life lubrication grease for extended maintenance intervals
Maintenance-free operation available for many models
