FULL COMPLEMENT CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

FINE Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings are heavy-duty radial bearings with a cage-free design, where cylindrical rollers are densely arranged to maximize load-carrying capacity and rigidity. Ideal for high-load, low-speed, and space-constrained industrial applications.
Key Application Fields
Application Field Typical Scenarios Core Value
Metallurgy & Steel Rolling Rolling mill stands, roll support, straighteners, shears High impact resistance and rigidity ensure rolling accuracy and stability
Port & Lifting Ship-to-shore cranes, unloaders, stacker-reclaimers, cranes Long life under heavy loads, resistant to salt fog and frequent start-stop shocks
Heavy Machinery Mining crushers, ball mills, shield machines High load capacity handles large loads in harsh conditions
Power Transmission Heavy-duty gearboxes, planetary gear trains, wind turbine shafts High power density, reduced vibration and heat generationThe Timken Company
General Industry Injection molding machines, hydraulic presses, large pumps/valves Compact structure saves space for continuous heavy-duty operation
Key Technical Characteristics
  1. Structural Design
    • Cage-free Full-complement Structure: 20%~50% more rollers than caged bearings, significantly improving radial load capacity and rigidity.
    • Type Classification:
      • Single-row: NU/N/NF types, non-locating/semi-locating, allowing axial displacement for thermal expansion;
      • Double-row: NN/NNF types, locating/semi-locating, supporting bidirectional axial loads and overturning moments;
      • Spherical outer ring: SL05/SL06 series with spherical outer ring, automatic self-alignment deviation ≤2°, reducing installation accuracy requirements.
  2. Performance Parameters
    • Load Capacity: 3~5 times higher radial load capacity than caged bearings of the same size, with excellent static load performance;
    • Speed: Reference speed lower than caged designs, suitable for medium-low speed and heavy-duty scenarios (usually ≤2000 r/min);
    • Load Requirement: C/P < 25 for continuous operation to avoid accelerated wear due to insufficient lubrication.
  3. Materials & Manufacturing
    • Materials: High-carbon chromium bearing steel (e.g., GCr15) and carburizing bearing steel, treated via vacuum degassing, forging, and heat treatment, with hardness reaching HRC58~62;
    • Surface Treatment: Carburizing quenching and grinding polishing reduce friction and heat generation, extending service lifeThe Timken Company.
  4. Standards & Selection
    • Main Standards: ISO, GB/T 307, DIN; non-standard customization available from major manufacturers;
    • Selection Criteria: Prioritize radial load, speed, installation space, alignment deviation, and working conditions (temperature, corrosion).
Operation & Maintenance
  • Lubrication: Lithium-based grease for grease lubrication; regular oil replacement for oil lubrication. Double-row sealed models are maintenance-free;
  • Installation: Avoid forced striking; use thermal assembly or press fitting to ensure proper alignment of the shaft and housing bore;
  • Maintenance: Regularly check clearance, wear, and lubrication status; shorten inspection cycles for heavy-duty conditions.
